After more than 10 years of work experience in healthcare communication at various knowledge institutions and the Dutch central government, I decided it was time for less talk and more action. I wanted to get my hands dirty (quite literally so) and help build a healthy living environment for all inhabitants.

So in 2023, I began training as an ecological garden designer. In the years that followed, I continued expanding my skills with courses in urban ecological design and sustainable entrepreneurship.

I immersed myself in the fascinating world of ecology and botany. I became captivated by the functioning and resilience of a living ecosystem (pure magic!) which, in many ways, reminds me of the social communities I have worked with.

Now, I design ecological gardens and work on projects that restore the connection between people, animals and nature.
